In line with your requirements, it can be fully managed or self- managed at a customer level. Deployed over a private, managed network it delivers all the benefits of IP telephony services without the need to invest in a dedicated and expensive IP PBX on each site.

It can also use an on-site gateway component called the IP Freeport. The IP Freeport provides ISDN2 or ISDN30 backup, so that calls can be routed via ISDN if access to the core is inaccessible – providing remote survivability.
